Your corpus, voice, and any congregation data are yours. This is the heart of how Sermon Cell treats your work: you own what you create, and we hold it only to make the tool serve you.

What we hold

  • Your sermons, notes, and drafts — the material you write and paste, kept so

the cell can remember you across sessions.

  • Your voice card and orientation answers — the distilled sense of how you

preach, used to question and critique you in your own register, never to write for you.

  • Optional congregation data — only if you choose to add it (the Congregation

Card is off by default).

  • Account basics — your name and email, through the shared MartelloAuth

sign-in that gets you into every Martello Systems app.

How AI is handled

The thinking partner is Claude-backed and runs through a secure gateway. The verified KJV spine is queried per verse, so the model reasons on exact local text and never bulk-loads or invents Scripture. Your card details, when you subscribe, are handled entirely by Stripe — Sermon Cell never sees or stores them.

The single-pastor trial

The single-pastor trial is light-touch. Multi-user use will require a real consent and retention model, designed in from the start — it is not enabled in this trial.

Your control

You can reset your study at any time, which removes the pastor record and all associated work. If you have a question about your data, email hello@sermoncell.com.
